.....play off Nhl 87 ročník se hrálo převážně s převahou východního křídla a nebylo tomu jinak ani ve finále. O titul se utkali jedni nejlepší z nejlepších borců naší ligy. Ze západu se přiřítil Colly s Las Vegas Golden a za východní křídlo přijel obhájit titul staronový respektive již veterán ligy Rapír, který si do boje vybral Boston. Serie to byla tvrdá a nebylo čas na kompromis. Oba borci si jeden druhému nenechali nic dlužni. Ovšem vítěz může být jen jeden a v serii 4:2 obhájil titul Rapír za Boston Bruins a zapsal se tak do síně slávy.....

.....the NHL 87 play-offs were played mostly with the Eastern wing dominating and it was no different in the finals. Some of the best of the best players in our league fought for the title. Colly rushed from the West with Las Vegas Golden and the old-new representative, already a veteran of the league, Rapír, came to defend the title from the East wing, who chose Boston for the fight. The series was tough and there was no time for compromise. Both players owed each other nothing. However, there can only be one winner and in the series 4:2 Rapír defended the title for the Boston Bruins and thus entered the Hall of Fame.....
